Notable Events[]
The Man In The Walls attacks Devereaux and Francine 25 years before the story takes place, at a motel the Rapture-And-Bliss. Devereaux escapes, but his sister does not. This inspires Devereaux to travel across the Peninsula looking for her.
Sebastian comes across the abandoned Amicus Hotel after leaving his family. He takes over as owner when he can't find the hotel's previous owner. Unbeknownst to him, Amicus has become a sacrifice to The Man In The Walls before Sebastian arrives.
The Man In The Walls takes Devereaux whilst Sebastian is busy with customers. Sebastian goes into the Haunt of The Rapture, located inside the walls of the hotel. The Man In The Walls taunts Sebastian. It is unclear whether Sebastian succeeds and is able to kill the god, or if he also becomes its victim.[1]
